As of January 1st 2018, no payday lender may offer, arrange, or provide payday loans in New Brunswick, whether online or in person, without being licensed in New Brunswick.  Contact FCNB to check the licence status of a payday lender.

Payday loans are promoted as a way to help cover expenses and get you to your next payday. Although a payday loan may seem convenient, they are an extremely expensive way to borrow money. Before you take out a payday loan, you should carefully consider the expense and any alternate payment sources.
